Responsibilities
As a Vineyard Worker, you will:
- Hoe between rows to maintain healthy soil and weed control.
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and work areas.
- Guide and tie growing shoots to ensure optimal vine development.
- Maintain vine canopy and grape growth throughout the season.
- Remove suckers and water sprouts manually.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, tractors, and vineyard tools.
- Assist in harvesting grapes during peak season.
- Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
Work Conditions
This role involves:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (hot, wet, dusty, or cold).
- Standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling for long periods.
- Handling heavy loads and performing repetitive manual tasks.
