Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Language: English
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of instructional or related experience
- Certificates: Provincial Driving Instructor Licence
Security & Safety
- Driver’s license validity check
- Clean driving abstract (required)
Transportation
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Work locations may vary with frequent travel required
Responsibilities
As a Driving Instructor with London Smart Drivers, your key responsibilities will include:
- Instructing students on safe driving practices and traffic regulations
- Demonstrating vehicle operation and road safety skills
- Supervising students during in-vehicle driving lessons
- Providing feedback and progress updates to students
- Fostering a supportive and focused learning environment
Work Conditions
- Extended periods of sitting while instructing
- Strong hand-eye coordination required
- High attention to detail
- Work may include mornings, evenings, and weekends
