Responsibilities
As a Carpenter, you will:
- Prepare layouts according to building codes using precise measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, wood substitutes, or lightweight steel materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roofing systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential, industrial, and commercial wooden structures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete framing and construction tasks.
Work Conditions
