To qualify for this position, you should have:

Education
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience
- No previous experience required , training will be provided
Credentials
- Valid Class 1 or Class A Driver’s License
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Additional Requirements
- Clean driving record (abstract required)
- Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
- Willingness to travel for extended periods

Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver at RSD Trucking Service, you will:
- Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform mountain and short-haul driving
- Load and unload cargo and ensure proper tarping and securement
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor emergency roadside repairs
- Complete driver logbooks, trip reports, and inspection documentation
- Communicate with central dispatch using CB radio and GPS systems
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service
Work Conditions
This position involves:
- Working at various locations
- Long periods of sitting and repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding duties and heavy load handling
- Strict adherence to safety and transportation regulations
