Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Language: English
  • Education: Secondary (high school) diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 5 years or more preferred
  • Certifications: CWB certifications (preferred), Forklift licence is an asset
  • Skills:
    • Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick/Arc)
    • Blueprint reading
    • Use of welding machinery and fabrication tools

Responsibilities

As a Welder, your main tasks will include:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Performing MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various projects
  • Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to specifications
  • Fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment
  • Inspecting welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards
  • Performing routine maintenance on welding equipment
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines
