Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high school) diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1–2 years
- Certifications: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification (required)

- Brake, hydraulic, fuel, ignition, and transmission systems
- Engine repair, diagnostics, and overhaul

Responsibilities
As a Transport Truck Mechanic, your main tasks will include:
- Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing mechanical systems
- Repairing or replacing parts and components of trucks and trailers
- Performing scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
- Reviewing work orders and advising on repair requirements
- Road-testing vehicles to confirm quality repairs
- Completing reports and maintaining accurate service records
- Coaching and instructing apprentices
- Providing excellent customer service
Work Conditions
This role requires:
- Working in a fast-paced, noisy, and sometimes dusty environment
- Standing for long periods and handling heavy equipment
