Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Carpenter, your duties will include:
- Preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Preparing layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials (wood, substitutes, lightweight steel, and more)
- Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Scheduling and coordinating work on sites
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments

Work Conditions
This role requires:
- Ability to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, or confined environments
