Requirements
At NIRVAIR Renovation and Construction Ltd., the ideal candidate should have the following:
Languages
- English
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
- 7 months to less than 1 year in painting or construction-related work
Security and Safety
- Must be eligible to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)
Technical Skills
- Surface preparation, sanding, and cleaning
- Mixing and matching paint colors and textures
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Ability to repair cracks, holes, and surface imperfections
- Knowledge of scaffolding and rigging for elevated work
- Estimating costs and material requirements
Responsibilities
As a Painter, your duties will include:
- Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces before application
- Repairing cracks and holes in walls and surfaces
- Mixing paint to desired colors and textures
- Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper or other wall coverings
- Advising clients on color choices and design options
- Erecting scaffolding and ensuring proper rigging for safety
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and finishing materials to a variety of surfaces
- Providing accurate cost and material estimates for projects

Work Conditions
This role requires:
